BENEFITS:
Prevents crack formation on the reinforced finishing surface.
High mechanical pressure resistance.
Alkali-resistant.
Non-stretchable and tear-resistant.
Complies with ETAG-004 standards and is permitted for use in every facade insulation system.
INSTALLATION:
Applying the reinforcement mix properly is a crucial step in achieving optimal insulation board performance. Start by spreading the mix widthwise across the surface of the insulation boards. Make sure the mix’s thickness represents approximately two-thirds of the intended final layer thickness for best results.
Next, lay the reinforcement mesh on top of the spread mix. Take special care to press the mesh flatly into the mixture, avoiding any wrinkles or folds that could compromise the integrity of the final layer. If any of the mix protrudes through the holes in the mesh, take a moment to evenly distribute it back onto the surface.
Subsequent panels should be placed in such a way that they overlap by about 10 cm, creating a uniform and well-secured layer. Once the mesh is laid out, go ahead and plaster over it to ensure that it is entirely encased in the mix.
It’s important to note that the final thickness of the reinforced layer is not arbitrary; it is directly dependent on the type of reinforcement mix used. Always refer to the mix’s specific guidelines to ensure you achieve the recommended layer thickness for maximum durability and effectiveness.
